A lot of crime is targeted at those who move into the village who do not have a history there. The police are unable to do anything as most people are related and will not report members of their family.
Comment 2
This is rubbish, I live in Streethouse and I'm from Pontefract. Streethouse would be a pleasant village if WMDC didn't use it as a dumping ground for all the down and outs they have. If they won't pay their rent anywhere else they dump them in Streethouse. It's Wakefield Council that's made Streethouse what it is today.
