Half mat rule, full mat rule, Ellu Gaaji, Kaattu Sutthu (wild shots)? Would somebody add these terms please? KK For sure, it should be on Wikipedia. But I would like to see the actual Tamil fonts and maybe other corresponding terms from Hindi and other languages... I really do appreciate the humor, but should this really be on wikipedia? I think it is not the humour part - it is a fact that Street Cricket exists in India and people around the world must be aware of it. It is very well written and to the point. - Radha from India. I do accept it's humourous. But everything it says is perfectly correct! These terms are very standard and a huge community does use these terms! It should, therefore, figure on an encyclopaedia, at least the Wikipedia!!

Guru 13:44, 22 February 2006 (UTC) Its really nice to read really nostalgic, now u can add one more thing "KUCHI" refered as STUMPS. and "UNDER ARM" which is not a full bowling just throwing without rotating of hands - D.Dinesh Kumar - Chennai What's the regular distance between wicket to wicket in street cricket?, thankz for this article, i'm from Bolivia where we don't know a thing about cricket...but we are playing now in the evenings because it's a lot more fun than street baseball Very well written and comprehensive source for street cricket related to Tamil Nadu and to an extent India(yes, there are lot of Hindi terms missing in the article and I think one 'them' should add theirs). A few more 'facts' could be added, Street cricket is mostly played by boys (roughly 99%) 'Flood light' cricket tournaments are just evolved forms of street cricket There is very little bowling involved in street cricket (the ball is mostly chucked)- Suresh
