"Strawberry Jam" is one of the seminal works of the rock band "The Wiles" second maturity. Based loosely on the Jim Henson movie "The Cube" made in the late 1960's, the song "Strawberry Jam" has far reaching import in today's post-9/11 world. Some people have a post-9/11 mindset. Some people still have a pre-9/11 mindset. Paticularly today, it is September tenth, 2006, so where exactly are we then? This question amongst others is examined at length in the second subject of the song, derived from the quartet in F major number one, Opus 59, by Ludwig Van Beethoven. The first subject is perhaps forgetable. You can check out more information on The Wiles at www.thewiles.org.
