[edit] Massive oversight
The article does not contain any information on things like the anime related sound tracks that were produced, nor what the OP/ED songs were. This is fairly standard info for anime series articles. Question2 12:55, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- You must have overlooked it, because that information is provided in the Audio CDs section in the first paragraph.--十八 12:57, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yea, who care? Because the girls in the ending sequence really blow the anime. Just kidding. I love Yuri. Kannazuki no Miko, My Hime and stuffs =D Shrine Maiden 16:39, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rokujou Miyuki
I propose to add Rokujou Miyuki to the Major Characters Section. She is important to the storyline (Etoile Election, Kaori backstory, relationship with Shizuma). -Shirohana 12:31, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, but no can do. She was not in the original short stories and was only created by the manga/light novel stage. Those 12 main characters have always been vastly important to the plot, and the opening sentence of that section tells the reader that more characters were later added to create plot lines, which is exactly why Miyuki and the others were introduced.--十八 14:42, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
-
- Eh, nice. Plot purpose. But honestly, isn't it quite 3 (Novel, Manga, Anime)vs1? Original material above all, huh. -Shirohana 18:34, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
-
-
- More like 3 vs. 3. The material that had the original 12 were:
-
- Original short stories, numbering 30 in all
- Supplemental biographies, numbering 5 in all
- Visual novel
-
-
- Material which incorperated the new characters:
-
- Manga
- Light novel
- Anime
-
-
- And the image to the right has the 12 original characters, plus we should try to focus on how this series began. And as I already stated, the sentence at the beginning of that section explains that more characters were later added, and the characters section is large enough as it is without introducing the new characters; that's why there is a List of Strawberry Panic! characters main article for that.--十八 19:14, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

- Yeah, so original material above all indeed, since 3vs3 is still even. But okay, this discussion is done. -Shirohana 15:26, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Grade system table
where was this obtained from? I'd like to have the site to use as a citation for another article. THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED! 01:42, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
- There wasn't any source attributed to it. In the anime, they explain the grading system, and mention how 4th grade at Astrea is like the first year of high school in regular Japanese schools, and the equivalent there in America is 10th grade, so it was just matching up the equivalents of the three school system's grades.--十八 01:46, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lulim is the offical spelling
Seen at this official MediaWorks website, it can plainly be seen that Lulim is the official romanization of the third school, so if you please, stop changing it.--十八 19:46, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Sales
The sentences in the Sales section under Reception seem to be rather repetitive, which kills readability. The info. can be better arranged as a table. KyuuA4 19:10, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Demographic
What demographic is this aimed at? It seems a little too feminine to be a seinen, but the lesbanism means strainght girls might be put off. Kung Foo 23:42, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think it's really that feminine, not like shōjo series, and keep in mind that this is a Japanese series, and the Japanese may mix elements together, but in the end there is usually only one demographic. As such, it's rather simple to see if a series is shōjo, shōnen, or seinen by the content of the series and how the plot and characters are depicted. Not to mention that the series began as serialized stories in Dengeki G's Magazine, which is a seinen bishōjo game magazine, and the manga for the series was serialized in the same magazine. So I would definitely put this series under seinen.--十八 02:08, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
-
- Thanks for clearing that up! I have to say, I like how it does seem to be a guy's version of certain Shojo/Josei manga; girls can watch any kinda anime, because being tomboyish isn't exactly frowned upon, but us guys have a large genre of anime/manga (the more light hearted romancy stuff) closed off. Thank god that thanks to this we get some experience in a major manga genre. Plus it's a nice diversion from the more combat-heavy/complexity-laden stuff I usually watch. [edit] Manga last run date
The Japanese Wikipedia says that the manga ended 04/2007. However, I can't really read Japanese that well, so I can't tell if the page says anything in detail about the manga's cancellation or a third volume. So, could anyone who can read Japanese take a look at the Japanese wiki? MayumiTsuji 20:09, 4 December 2007 (UTC)MayumiTsuji
- I've known about this for some time. The manga version had it's last appearance in the April 2007 issue of Dengeki G's Magazine, but the story was not finished. They might restart it some day, but for now the manga is unfinished and is officially on "indefinite hiatus"; in other words, MediaWorks has not officially announced that the manga has been canecelled.--十八 01:17, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] ANN DVD 1 review
Anime News Network has reviewed the first DVD of Strawberry Panic. -Malkinann (talk) 00:02, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
