Talk:Straw hat

Curses, can anyone capitalize the H in hat for me?
- If you mean in the article name, unless the name is proper (which it isn't) then no - don't capitalize it. →Raul654 04:36, Mar 26, 2004 (UTC)
- Why do you want to do that and where? The title of the article should be "Straw hat" under Wikipedia guidelines and, since it's not a proper noun, it should be referred to as a "straw hat" in all other references. I can't imagine an instance where the h in hat would need to be capitalized in the phrase "straw hat." Moncrief 04:36, Mar 26, 2004 (UTC)
A straw hat is not a proper noun. However, I'm pretty sure I need to use consistant tense, and I've gotten a blank article several times by requesting "Straw Hat." I do not know how to rename articles names. --FB (Posting without logging in)
The article is a fine start, and its listed in the right place. Trust me - don't move it. →Raul654 04:57, Mar 26, 2004 (UTC)
I know it's a few months after, but I made Straw Hat redirect to Straw hat. I realize that straw hat isn't a proper noun, but lots of people, myself included many times, tend to capitalize more than we're supposed to. Just to clear up some confusion I went ahead and did it. If anyone has a problem just say so here or on my talk page.Gorovich 05:03, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Restored Old Version
I restored an older version of this page, since someone decided to mess it up (you can check the version prior to my restoration to see what I mean).
