Most combat arms are called "___ Arm" (Όπλον ___). This term demotes army elements that, more or less, have direct participation in combat.
Most support branches are called "Corps of ___" (Σώμα ___), with some exceptions.

Ειδικές Δυνάμεις - includes paratroopers and marines. - Corps of Engineers
Όπλον Μηχανικού (ΜΧ) - Signal Corps
