The striped nothobranch (Nothobranchius taeniopygus) is a species of fish in the Aplocheilidae family. It is found in Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are rivers, intermittent rivers, swamps, freshwater lakes, intermittent freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, and inland deltas. It is threatened by habitat loss.
