String Transport or Unitsky String Transport is an altitude high-speed freight/passenger rail transportation system designed by Russian inventor Anatoly Unitsky.
The project received grants from UN-HABITAT.
It is planned an Abu Dhabi — Dubai — Sharjah 138 km route to be build. Project total cost estimated 280 million USD.
There are a couple of projects in Russia also. In 2008 the pilot route in Khabarovsk is planned.
