Stridex is a common acne treatment and prevention medicine. It comes in the form of pads contained in a plastic tub of fifty-five or the new seventy-five pads. They come in a number of different strengths, and contain salicylic acid, as an acne medication. The most active ingredient in Stridex is Salicylic Acid (2.0%), the purpose of "Acne medication".
Stridex "Power Pads" contain instead the active ingredient of Benzoyl Peroxide (2.5%), the first acne treatment pads to do so without requiring a prescription for purchase.
