Strichen is a village in Aberdeenshire, Scotland not far from Fraserburgh. It sits on the A981 which connects it to New Deer to the south-west and Fraserburgh to the north-north-east, and the B9093 which connects it to New Pitsligo about four miles due west.

It is at the foothills of Mormond Hill.

Strichen Stone Circle to be found near to Strichen House in publicly accessible land.

Strichen House is a ruin designed in 1821 by Thomas Fraser, 12th Lord Lovat which fell into ruin in 1954. As well as a country house it was used as a base to go shooting from, a hotel and an army barracks.
