Stregazza family

In Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Legacy series, the Stregazza family is an important noble family in La Serenissima, one of the foremost cities of Caerdicca Unitas. As La Serenissima is a fantasy equivalent of Venice, Italy, the Stregazza may be likened to the Borgias or the Medicis.

Benedicte de la Courcel was wedded to Maria Stregazza, who is deceased. He is Ysandre de la Courcel's great uncle and a Prince of the Blood of Terre d'Ange. His second wife is Etaine de Tourais and they have a son together.
Maria Stregazza de la Courcel is the wife of the D'Angeline Prince Benedicte de la Courcel. She has died by the events of Kushiel's Chosen.
Marie-Celeste de la Courcel Stregazza is the first daughter of Prince Benedicte de la Courcel and Maria Stregazza de la Courcel. She is wed to Marco Stregazza, the Doge's son.
Dominic weds Thérèse de la Courcel, the daughter of Benedicte de la Courcel. He and his wife were responsible for the death of Isabel L'Envers; when he learns this information has been released, he tries to flee, and is killed by highwaymen.
Thérèse de la Courcel, second daughter of Prince Benedicte de la Courcel and Maria Stregazza de la Courcel. She is wed to Dominic and was, with him, responsible for the murder of Isabel L'Envers. She is a Princess of the Blood of Terre d'Ange.
Severio Stregazza is the son of Marie-Celeste de la Courcel Stregazza and Marco Stregazza. He is a Prince of the Blood of Terre d'Ange.
Etaine de Tourais is the second wife of Benedicte de la Courcel. She is an orphan of the war with Skaldia from Camlach and they have a son together named Imriel. We later find out this is a pseudonym and not her real name (see Kushiel's Chosen).
Imriel de la Courcel is the son of Benedicte de la Courcel and Etaine de Tourais. A Prince of the Blood of Terre d'Ange.
