Street Cry (foaled March 11, 1998 in Ireland) is a Thoroughbred racehorse and winner of the 2002 Dubai World Cup, the 2002 Stephen Foster Handicap and runner up in the 2002 Whitney Handicap. Owned and bred by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's Godolphin Racing, he is out of the mare Helen Street, a daughter of multiple Group 1 winner Troy, and was sired by Machiavellian, a son of Mr. Prospector[1].
He is the sire of Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense, and stands for stud at Darley's Jonabell Farm in Lexington, Ky. for $100,000[2]. Street Cry also sired Tomcito who raced as a two-year-old in Peru and won two important Group One races against older horses.
