Straumsnes, Møre og Romsdal

Straumsnes is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway.
It was created by a split from Tingvoll on January 1, 1866. At that time Straumsnes had a population of 1222. On 1 January 1868 an uninhabited district of Halsa was moved to the municipality.
On 1 January 1964 Straumsnes was reunited with Tingvoll. Prior to the merger Straumsnes had a population of 1160
