Stratford Square Mall is a shopping mall located just off Army Trail Road and Gary Avenue in Bloomingdale, Illinois, a northwestern suburb of Chicago. The 1.3 million square foot mall has an overall occupancy of 90.4% with a shop tenant occupancy of 68.7%.[1] The mall currently has six anchor tenants including Carson Pirie Scott, JCPenney, Kohl's, Macy's, Sears, and Burlington Coat Factory.
[edit] Feldman Mall Properties
Since being acquired by Feldman Mall Properties in early 2005, the mall has been scheduled to undergo many renovations in order to raise its status back to an A-Class Mall. Feldman plans to boost shopper traffic and tenant sales by adding one or more junior anchor tenants, multiple sit-down restaurants, outdoor cafes and streetscape retail, new property signage and other general capital improvements.[2] Already, Feldman has upgraded the previous four-screen theatre to a 16-screen Cinemark Century Theatre with stadium seating.
