The Strat Ultra is an electric guitar made by Fender. This guitar features an alder body with ash veneers and flamed maple top, Lace Sensor pickups, aged white pearloid pickguard and a Fender/Floyd Rose locking synchronized vibrato. It was the first Fender guitar to feature an ebony fingerboard. Introduced in 1990, it was discontinued in 1997.
The guitar used a Blue sensor in the neck, a Gold sensor in the middle and a Dually Red sensor in the bridge position with a 3-way toggle switch for coil-splitting. Other features included abalone dot inlays, 22 jumbo frets, Spergel locking tuners and an LSR nut. The Strat Ultra was patterned after the limited-edition Custom Shop 35th Anniversary Stratocaster with Silver Lace Sensor pickups and active electronics, released in 1989.
