Strat Plus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Strat Plus is an electric guitar made by Fender. Introduced in 1987, this guitar is an upgraded version of the American Standard Stratocaster (first introduced in 1986) featuring three Gold Lace Sensor pickups, LSR Roller Nut, Sperzel locking machine heads and a Hipshot Tremsetter. It was followed by the Strat Plus Deluxe of 1989, the same guitar except for the addition of a white pearloid pickguard, a Blue Lace Sensor in the neck, a Silver Lace Sensor in the middle, a Red Lace Sensor in the bridge and a Fender/Floyd Rose locking synchronized vibrato. Discontinued in 1997, the Strat Plus and Deluxe Strat Plus guitars were replaced by the Fender American Deluxe Series models in 1998.
