Strangeloop Networks has a variety of products in the network appliance space:

[edit] AS1000

Strangeloop's core product is the AS1000 Application Scaling appliance. It is an ASP.NET framework-specific appliance that optimizes dynamic web applications in real time without code or infrastructure changes. It lets enterprises scale Microsoft ASP.NET applications, including those that leverage AJAX, to thousands of concurrent users. The AS1000 sits in the data center, in-line behind the load balancer and in front of the web server farm, running web applications developed using the Microsoft ASP.NET framework.

[edit] WS1000

The Strangeloop WS1000 Web Services Accelerator is a recent addition to the Strangeloop product lineup. It is the first appliance to improve enterprise application performance by accelerating web services. The WS1000 was designed specifically to address web service performance challenges. Located between the web services server and the consuming server (typically a web application), the WS1000 reduces the load on the servers and increases application performance.
