Strange is a six part American comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics under their Marvel Knights imprint.
Written by J. Michael Straczynski and Samm Barnes, with artwork by Brandon Peterson, Strange is a re-imagining of Doctor Strange's origin.

A medical student named Stephen Strange, while in Tibet, meets a sickly, apparently mute young man named Wong and later a old man while going to a monastery called "The Garden of Fountains" who asks him why he want to become a doctor. Later he hears the young man named Wong started talking after Stephen given him a watch, hoping he would return later in life. Three years later at the Graduation party one of has college professor who believed would be more than a "Medical profession's version of pimp" is killed in an automobile incident. Three year later Stephen Strange working a Plastic surgery in New York but is injured in a skiing accident.[1]
After which he loses the full ability of the use of his hands. He starts looking for the a surgery who can fix has hands, but find no one can help.[2]
