Strand Home Video was a company specializing in direct-to-video releases of children's entertainment. Its releases included Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, Kino's Storytime, Little Toot and others. Strand Home Video was formerly called Strand VCI Entertainment, but changed its name in 1992. Strand Home Video was the American version of The Video Collection.
The music in this logo was originally used in the UK on the logo of The Video Collection (now VCI) in 1986.

Strand VCI Entertainment was a company that specialized in direct-to-video releases of children's entertainment. Some notable releases by Strand Home Video were The Mouse and the Motorcycle, Runaway Ralph, Cindy Eller, The Jungle Book and the first twelve volumes of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. It also released some bands like Nuclear Assault: Handle with Care and others.
