Well, I finally got around to signing up for WP! I've been a lurker since it began, really, and since it has been such a help to me in terms of research, coursework and general interest, I figured it would only be right to give something back. :) I don't really have one particular 'specialist subject'; I will probably end up editing pages and correcting grammar, spelling and the like—I'm a bit of a 'grammar nazi'—than actually creating new ones. At present, although I am bilingual, I do not plan to register on the French wikipedia, for a number of reasons, really, chief among which being that, although I am bilingual, living in England means I am somewhat isolated from contemporary French culture, etc. I decided to tweak my userpage & other related pages before actually doing any editing on the 'pedia itself, mainly because I'm vain. ;) See you around! — ∗ pace.
