You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on David M. Broome. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Thanks for catching on. Your cooperation gave me the time I needed to peek briefly at the references you listed in the article. Doing so helped me to formulate the opinion that the article was no longer eligible for speedy deletion, and so I removed the tag. It is bad practice here to remove tags from your own articles; that's why I kept reverting it. For what it's worth, even though I don't know much about the notability of failed election candidates, I hope your article stays.
