[edit] Monkey jesus

Er, that managed to get on to WP:BJAODN, but even so it was speedy criteria so I'm going to have to warn you to not do it again ;) Hedley 02:18, 29 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed Deletion: Flintlocke's Guide to Azeroth

Hi there. I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Flintlocke's Guide to Azeroth, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the article (also see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues I've raised at Talk:Flintlocke's Guide to Azeroth. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --Cymsdale 02:22, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of Vancouver bus routes

Thanks for the correction. You made me feel stupid for screwing up that edit. PoCo, not Surrey. Duh. hehe. :D Buchanan-Hermit™..CONTRIBS..SPEAK! 17:42, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

Not a problem. :D Stormscape 18:55, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Patrick Moore

I'm confused as to why you felt you needed to delete my sentence on Patrick Moore and his April Fool's Day hoax. I included the link to Netscape News which was my source. If you felt it disrupted the flow of your paragraph I could have started a new paragraph.Ajayfahlman

[edit] Please be more careful

[edit] Category:Dictators

Category:Dictators was deleted first on September 2004, re-created again and deleted again on May 30, 2005, recreated again and deleted on May 2006. The latest CfD is at Wikipedia:Categories_for_deletion/Log/2006_May_22#Category:Dictators. Consensus is that this category is too subjective as there is no unbiased criteria as to what a dictator is.--Ezeu 16:21, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

On the AFD for The Game (game), you described my nomination as bad faith... could you explain why you consider it to be bad faith? Proto::type 14:19, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Alefox

I reverted your restoration of the PROD tag on Alefox. Please take a look at WP:PROD. Users can remove prod tags on deletions they contest. If you still feel it should be deleted, take it to articles for deletion. Metros232 18:46, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Railway v. Metro stations

Actually approximately half of articles in the section "Future infrastructure" (currently marked with the tag "Future railway stations") about metro (or subway) or monorail or light rail etc stations. They definately need a separate category. If you suggest that the "future railway station" tag implies only heavy rail, and not suitable for metro stations, maybe the solution could be renaming this tag (e.g. Future railway and metro station"? Or maybe you could create a new separate tag for metro stations? What you think?Beagel 16:40, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

A metro or light rail tag would work. Metro/Subway could also work, but what above elevated lines like SkyTrain? It starts to just boggle your mind as Metros are usually considered heavy rail.
I really don't knew what to do with elevated lines. Maybe we should rename this tag to "public transportation station", but I don't think this will be the best solution.Beagel 16:01, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

Hey, could I get your feedback on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Comics#Notability guidelines? I'm trying to hash out whether hosting on Comic Genesis (Keenspot) is sufficient to meet WP:WEB #3. Thanks much. --Brad Beattie (talk) 22:05, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:STER-ST.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:STER-ST.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:38, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Flintlocke's Guide to Azeroth

An editor has nominated Flintlocke's Guide to Azeroth, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Flintlocke's Guide to Azeroth and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 00:59, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

My condolences on the deletion of the article. Just to make sure you know, a copy of the article can be provided to you by any administrator, and there is a list of admins who will do so, they will usually put it in your user space. It could then be copied elsewhere. There was another game wiki I found when I was trying to see what I could dig up for notability that had an older, less detailed, article, a copy of an earlier version. You could place it there for continued access. Meanwhile, I'm working on possible policies and procedures for the future that will avoid what I consider a tragic waste of user resources; you worked on that article, believing that it was appropriate, and multiply this by all the other "non-notable" -- but verifiable -- articles, and there is serious damage being done. The proper job of editors should be to categorize knowledge according to degree of notability, not to reject and expunge any of it, except for blatantly inappropriate material. It's an uphill battle, though. --Abd (talk) 23:11, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:PCHR-ST.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:PCHR-ST.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 15:23, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
