[edit] Bog bodies
Thanx for the warm welcome! I "take care" of the bog bodies in the German Wikipedia and would like to help out here once in a while... Is there a group of users dedicated to prehistory like in the German Wikipedia? Kind regards, --Lillyundfreya 11:20, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
- Not that I am aware of, but that doesn't prove anything. The closest thing I could find was Wikipedia:WikiProject Archaeology. Storeye 11:26, 10 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Astragalus membranaceus
Sorry, I reverted your edit today in Astralagus as they just have Astragalus membranaceus as a redirect page going to Astragalus propinquus, which is already listed in the list of Astralagus species. I don't know why they consider A. prop... to be the best name instead of A. memb... I'd rather it were done the other way but I've not found sufficiently notable references to warrant changing both this article and the other two plus all the links. (Wikipedia is a real hassle about that. I thought about making Wild buckwheat into a disambiguation page and listing the Eurasian species by its scientific name but gave up due to the number of link changes involved.)But if you can establish notability to revert my edit then you might want to do the other changes as well.Trilobitealive (talk) 01:33, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ooops, sorry I didn't realise that they were the same species. I do not have much knowledge on the topic and simply noticed that the species name I was looking for wasn't there. I assume there is little harm done in having the page under one name rather than another. Thankyou for clearing this up for me! Storeye (talk) 04:06, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

- They get pretty confusing sometimes. Keep up the good work and don't let this sort of thing get you down. I've been reverted many times on different articles and know how frustrating it gets.Trilobitealive (talk) 04:34, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
