[edit] Synopsis
As I'm about to purchase a copy of the Penguin Classics 2001 edition of this book, I will be in a position to write a synopsis for it. Clearly, Bataille's other translated fiction needs similar treatment.

When was this book first published? I also think it would be interesting to include the title in other languages than English and French (as many as possible) for further reference. 80.216.43.215 21:03, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
