  • Should team leaders be noted for each lineup? Otherwise, I'd say just alphabetize the members in each list.
  • Does it really make sense to have characters' real names in that first lineup? Ideally they'd all be listed on the character's own page, but most of them don't have their own article. IMO, either every known real name should be listed, or none of them.
  • We should have more of a description of the team's purpose, structure, and operational parameters, as well as a description of Skywatch. I think that's important in terms of a reference for people who've never read the book and stumble on this page, the whole concept of superheroes who are called in to intervene in national or global conflicts. I'm very much a newbie in terms of how Wikipedia articles are supposed to be structured, though, so I don't know that kind of general plot/setting information should be integrated into the article.

I'd gather the info and do the writing and editing for any of these, but I'm not going to go ahead and do any of them until I see if anyone cares :) and what other people's opinions are. -- Asterphage 08:09, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

I think those all sound like good ideas. For the structure I'd take a look at some of the other superhero team entries that are floating around. WildC.A.T.s might be a good place to start, both are Wildstorm books and both have fairly similar publication histories and numbers of issues published. I'm not too familiar with the series beyond the basic concept and Ellis' run, so I'm not going to be very helpful there, but I do like the suggestions you put forth. I have added a table for members. (Only for the first few teams now, due to time constraints). The intention is to add all character names and real names to the table to get a more uniform list of members. I think their real names are important enough to note, especially because several members never received enough attention to warrent their own pages (in my honest opinion). Notes will include leadership, dead and special circumstances. As Stormwatch is an international team, do you think it's worth to add a column with nationalities for each character?
Nationalities and real names might be over doing. But that's just me. LostPhrack 22:44, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
I'd like to list nationalities too, if we're keeping real names, because of the book's emphasis on international relations in some stories. Occasionally a character's homeland becomes an actual issue. -- Asterphage 12:15, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

As for general plot and description of Skywatch, I would say go ahead with them. Dizzy D 14:17, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Former members of Stormwatch

There should be some mention of former members of Stormwatch who left the team prior to issue #1 of the original series. I can only think of two:

  • Razer (Janine), who left Stormwatch to join the Mercs led by Deathtrap (Seamus O'Brienn); see Stormwatch #1.
  • Scythe (Tatjania), a Bosnian member who was Winter's lover. She left Stormwatch at the beginning of the Bosnian War (March 1992) ; see Stormwatch #33. Kaijan 19:48, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
