[edit] Starts Well, slips into in-universe

The beginning of this article is praiseworthy as an example to Warhammer Fantasy writers and editors of how to maintain a grounded, verifiable out-of-universe perspective as described in Wikipedia:Manual of Style (writing about fiction). It does slip into in-universe perspective later, though...

[edit] Unsourced controvesies

I tagged the "controversies section as unsourced earlier. I'm just going to remove it since it cannot be substantiated by reliable sources. if somebody can sources this from notable and verifiable secondary sources go ahead and restore it--Cailil talk 17:49, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Put bluntly, fan reactions towards the campaign were mixed, and there are plenty of message board backlogs that would back this up. However, as far as I understand the rules, this would not be enough. Am I right about this?User:sindreman

As one of the fans who was somewhat dissapointed by the way the campaign was run (and ended) I understand what you're saying. I'm familiar with the concerns that fans had with the campaign, however there's been no word in a notable source about it so unless or until a notable reliable source for criticism is found the section has to stay out--Cailil talk 13:11, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
I think you would be hard pressed to find a "notable reliable" source for criticism, since Games Workshop are loathe to admit that anyone disliked Storm of Chaos, and certainly never made any mention of fan reaction on their own websites. While it's certainly true that most of the main online communities (Druchii.net, Warhammer-empire.com as well as the Ork and Chaos forums) were mightily annoyed with the contrived resolution to the campaign, it's probably not worth mentioning here in any event, since anyone who came looking for this page would already know what went down during the campaign. 58.108.233.9 (talk) 15:26, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
