[edit] Heavy Metal

Heavy Metal needs to be added to the genre page. User;Megaplith100 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Megaplith100 (talkcontribs) 23:26, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Why? Their not heavy metal. Can't you just accept that? 69.250.142.218 (talk) 20:58, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Corey's Voice

Is it just me, or does Corey Taylor's voice sound radically different than it did several years ago? Listen to the way he screams on Come What(ever) May: doesn't it sound like his voice is cracking/can't hit the notes? I thought he was supposed to have had surgery on his voice so that he wouldn't have this problem anymore?

I'm not saying that he isn't a good singer anymore, I'm just commenting on how it sounds. He can still sing melodies damn near perfect. He oughta drink some hot, herbal tea w/ honey after every show so that his voice doesn't get much worse.

[edit] 2007 Album/ Tours

Does anyone know when Stone Sour will record another album? Or if they'll be featured on any more major tours?

[edit] Why was the page rewritten?

fuck

i came here a few days ago, the stone sour page seemed alot better. and why does whoever edited the page call it stone salad?

-I edited the SLIP KNOT SUCKS! from the singles-part, but the layout is still a little fucked-up, I dunno how to fix that.

[edit] Advert

i think it reads a little like an advertisement to be honest. using unleashed for the site seems a little strong. Scott w 11:07, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Genre Confusion

Hard rock Is still on the title to the article but the genre is listed as alternative metal shall i change it or is there still a discussion on genre? Paladin91 20:13, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

The genre is inaccurate where the band is no where near metal. They have more to do with Korn than actual metal. Hence nu-metal is most fitting for it's musical traits having more to do with nu-metal.

No way are Stone Sour Post grunge or Hard Rock. Guns n Roses are hard rock and foo fighters are post grunge stone sour have no similarities plus stone sour dont have solos that are melodious and long. no solos are a characteristic of an alternative rock/metal band and they dont have any characteristics of grunge which doesn't use screaming and tuned down guitars and double pedal percussion Stone Sour are not grunge or hard rock. Paladin91 20:44, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Judging "Come What(ever) May" as a full, their sound is actual towards hard rock or straight up heavy metal. (i.e Socio, the title track, sillyworld) Not "Alternative" at all...

[edit] Only a Biography section?

I read this article, and it only has the "Biography" section listed, and there are parts in the Biography section that could be included in new sections, such as band members entering/leaving. I didn't fix it, but its just a thought.

[edit] nu metal

um they're not nu metal. they sound nothing like nu metal. slipknot is nu metal, stone sour is not.

[edit] Redirect

Needs a redirect from "stonesour" it is beyond my knowledge to add that —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 164.107.220.214 (talk) 03:25, 6 March 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Ozzfest?

Where is the proof that they are playing Ozzfest? Nothing has been said from them, on their site, myspace, or the ozzfest website. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Anthony G (talk • contribs) 20:36, 11 March 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Reiteration

How come my comment was deleted? WTF is melodic post-grunge? Arkyopterix 14:24, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Shouldn't reference be made...

To the first album Stone Sour did, where the songs were mostly alternative metal? At the moment we don't have it under genres at all. Just because they very rarely use that style anymore, does not mean it shouldn't be included. It is still one genre Stone Sour have used. James25402 15:34, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Godsmack

Should Godsmack be included in the "Associated Acts" section? I'm not sure if drums on one song justifies a mention in associated acts.

[edit] Blues??!!

WTF? Whoever put that is out of their mind. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.219.148.226 (talk) 07:47, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Soul Metal

wtf is soul metal?

What the fuck???? Don't know what that is. Anyway, I've reverted that edit and warned the IP about vandalism. ThundermasterThundermaster's Talk 12:34, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Have you guys not heard the band...? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.131.153.11 (talk) 01:22, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Lol, if this kind of thing pisses off SS fans that much, then I just might add it again. 69.250.142.218 (talk) 21:00, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Shouldn't we start a page for the Bother single?

i think we need to start a page for the bother single by stone sour. who agrees with me for this? Lpfan4eva1990 (talk) 17:17, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Your welcome to create one --Brickovic (talk) 16:21, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

I've cleaned up what I could see but I think it needs flagging
