PROCOL HARUM recorded in November 1968 a song called Stoke Poges and was inspired bij the poet Thomas Gray. A great song it was. The song has been unreleased.

The link between Stoke Poges Golf club and films is probably due to the location of Pinewood studios not too far away where most of the earlier Bond films were made.80.254.147.68 16:01, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Alternate spelling?

I have seen "Stoke Pogis" in at least two old books. Worth mentioning? Perhaps a redirect page at Stoke Pogis to here?--BillFlis 12:38, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
