[edit] Separation?

Anyone watching this page? I propose to separate this article according to the different types of stockpile. Really, the military stockpile, the market stockpile and the bulk materials handling stockpile are not different types of the same thing. They tend to only share the workd "stockpile". I propose a disambiguation page, and new pages to each type. I'm happy to do the work, just looking for objections, ideas, etc? Bernard S. Jansen 04:10, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Sounds good to me! --PeterMarkSmith 06:26, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Action

This is how I'm going to do it:

Stockpile remains, in the bulk materials handling context.

Cornering the market is edited to reflect the use of the term stockpile. A link to this page is provided on the new disambiguation page.

Soil Stockpile is created as a stub article based on the limited info on this page.

Stockpile (military) is created as a stub article based on the info on this page.

A Stockpile (disambiguation) page is created with links to the above uses. Bernard S. Jansen 03:31, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
