Stoyan Zagorchinov

Stoyan Zagorchinov (Загорчинов; 1889–1969) was a Bulgarian writer. Author of The Last Day - The God's Day, one of the first social-historical epic novel in Bulgarian literature. Zagorchinov was also an author of plays, essays, portrait pieces, articles and memoirs.

Stoyan Zagorchinov was born on 1889 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. It is unknown his birth date is December 3[1] or March 3[2]. He studied history at the Sofia University. Then he continued studies of history and philosophy in Geneva, Switzerland. He graduated from the Sofia University with the Major of History and French language. During the years of 1920–1925 Zagorchinov taught French at the Naval Force School in Varna[2].
Zagorchinov died 1969 in Sofia. It is unknown rather his death date is January 3[1] or January 31.[2]
