Stowmarket Town FC are an English football team who play in Division One of the Eastern Counties League. The club plays its home games at the Greens Meadow Stadium in Stowmarket, Suffolk. The team colours are gold & black shirts, black shorts, and black stockings.
The club was founded as Stowmarket F.C. in 1883, originally playing at the Cricket Meadow. In 1983 they were renamed Stowmarket Town, and a year later moved to Green Meadow. They joined the Eastern Counties League in 1952, having played earlier seasons in the Essex and Suffolk Border League, and before that in the Ipswich & District League.
The club won the Senior County Cup in 2007 playing against Grundisburgh, winning 2-1. The game was played in front of 1,480 people at Ipswich Town's Portman Road.
