Stotfold Football Club is a football club based in Stotfold, England. They were established in 1904. They have reached the 4th round of the FA Vase 3 times in their history. For the 2007-08 season, they are members of the United Counties Football League Premier Division.
The 2007-08 season saw Stotfold finish top of the United Counties Football League Premier Division for the first time in their long history. Winger Paul Garrett, scored more than 20 league goals that term, including the goal that clinched the title. The league title was confirmed in dramatic fashion with a 4-4 draw against title challengers Long Buckby. Stotfold were 4-0 down at half time, but an improved second half performance, capped by a 90th minute effort from Garrett ensured that Stotfold gained the point needed to seal the title. Stotfold followed this up by winning the Bedfordshire Senior Cup, defeating Leighton Town of the Southern League 2-1 at Kenilworth Road.
Stotfold are currently negotiating to move to the Spartan South Midlands League for the new season, a more geographically appropriate league, in an attempt to reduce travelling time and costs.
Stotfold also have junior teams ageing from 6 years to 17. [1]
