An XML document (RSS or ATOM format) containing text as well as links to download audio and video content related to a specific news story. The story typlically runs over multiple days and cuts across multiple angles of news (community, political, government, health, public safety, etc.).
Example:
Hurricane Katrina and Rita indirectly and almost directly impacted Dallas, TX. The city provided relief in the form of housing, supplies, and comfort to those forced out of the Gulf region. The Dallas Morning news provides two "story feed"s for both Katrina (http://www.dallasnews.com/nation/katrina/ and Rita (http://www.dallasnews.com/s/dws/news/texassouthwest/rita/vitindex.html ). NOTE: Unlikely the feeds still work. Subscribers got updated on all aspects of the continuing story relate the hurricanes. Be it weather, relief efforts both local and national, rebuilding efforts, and close to home stories in one single feed. Simple and complete.
