[edit] Character biography
Storm is the oldest child of Stephen (Patrick Duffy) and Beth Logan (Nancy Burnett), and was very angry at his father for leaving the family, which is where he got the nickname 'Storm'. He helped his mother to take care of his younger sisters, after Stephen left the family, and was basically known as the man of the Logan family.
Storm was pleased when, in 1990, Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo), a former high school classmate of his, came to Los Angeles and the two began a romantic relationship, but she was in love with Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss). Shortly after their engagement ended, Storm left Los Angeles to move to San Francisco to practice law, taking his sister Donna (then played by Carrie Mitchum, now Jennifer Gareis) with him. He occasionally returned home for family events and weddings.
In October 2006, Storm returned as Taylor's lawyer as Taylor prepared to face charges for the manslaughter of Darla Forrester (Schae Harrison). He was then employed by Nick Marone (Jack Wagner) as legal counselor for Forrester Creations, a position he currently holds, even though the owner is once again, Eric Forrester. In fact, Eric had extended the job of legal counselor, as a way of helping him and his sisters become a part of the Forrester Creations team. Storm also represented Nick when he was falsely accused of murdering Shane McGrath (Dax Griffin).
In late 2007, Storm defended his father, who was accused of shooting Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery). However, Storm eventually confessed to his sisters, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie (Heather Tom), that it was, in fact him who had shot Stephanie. He proclaimed that he had done it to get even with her for all the pain she had inflicted on the Logan family over the years, and was also intent on pinning the blame for it on Stephen, his own father, for leaving the family all those years ago. Stephen, however, shocked his family when he said he would accept responsibility for the shooting, and take the blame for it, to alleviate the stress on Storm. This situation helped bond father and son, like never before. It also came out that it was Storm himself, who had ordered Stephen out of the family. Stephen did not deny the fact that he had hurt his family. Brooke confessed to Stephanie that it was Storm who had shot her, and Stephanie eventually gave in to Brooke, Donna and Katie's pleas not to press charges against their brother.
Storm began dating Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) in early 2008, but she lost interest after Ridge told her about Storm shooting Stephanie. While trying to convince Ashley that he had changed, he shot his own sister Katie accidentally due to a misunderstanding. At the hospital, Katie's family was informed by Dr. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) that Katie would die without a transplant. When Bridget's attempts to locate a suitable donor failed, Storm intentionally shot himself on April 28, 2008; his heart was later transplanted into Katie, saving her life.
