Store Trolltind is the highest point along the ridge Trollryggen, and has the vertical cliff Troll Wall separating the peak from the valley Romsdalen, a drop of 1,700 m.
The easiest access to the summit is by walking from the parking lot at Trollstigen. Directly beneath the summit, one might prefer a rope for securing the last climb.
