Stongdey

Stongdey is a monastery situated 18 km to the north of Padum, on the road to Zangla., India. The monastery is associated with the Tibetan Yogi, Marpa. Stongdey is the second largest monastery of Zanskar with a community of about 60 Gelukpa monks.
