The The Stocksbridge Railway Act of 1874 (37 & 38 Vict. c.4) was established in England to establish a railway in Stocksbridge, South Yorkshire^[1]. The railway was built to serve the steel industry in Stocksbridge and link it to the MSLR; linking Manchester to Sheffield via Penistone.
