Stockport Express is the local newspaper of Stockport, England. It has a paid-for circulation of 16,000 and is published every Weds. Its sister free paper the Stockport Times, which is published every Thursday, has a circulation of close to 100,000 The editor of both publications is Mandy Leigh.
The Stockport Express has won both local and national awards including 1999 Community Newspaper of the Year.[citation needed]
