Stockholm Pride

Stockholm Pride is a festival for LGBT individuals held yearly in Stockholm. Since the start in 1998, Stockholm Pride has grown to be one of Stockholm's largest annual festivals, as well as the largest Pride celebration in Scandinavia. Each year Stockholm Pride attracts visitors from both Sweden and the rest of the world. The festival is held in the end of July/beginning of August. Stockholm Pride was the host for Europride in 1998 and will again be so in 2008.

In 2007, 50,000 people took part in the Pride parade and approximately 500 000[citation needed] were watching along the streets. This makes Stockholm Pride one of the biggest in Europe, and the biggest in northern Europe.
