Stockholm Cup International

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Stockholm Cup International is a Group 3 flat horse race in Sweden for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 2,400 metres (approximately 1 mile 4 furlongs) on turf at Täby Racecourse in September.

It was awarded Group 3 status in 1994, becoming the first Pattern race outside of the main five flat racing countries in Europe. A second Swedish race, the Täby Open Sprint Championship, was given the same status in 1998.
