| Description |
English: Stokes boundary layer in a viscous fluid due to the harmonic oscillation of a rigid plane plate. Velocity (blue line) and particle excursion (red dots) as a function of the distance to the wall. The oscillation direction is parallel to the plane. The lowest red dot gives the position of the plate.
