[edit] Still Kicking Sources
Most of this info comes from the official Jeff Duran website [1] and from [2], who was the first online store to sell the comedy cd. I added the japanese website link because it was the first online store in the far east to sell the cd which eventually charted. The additional info is relevant to the comedian's history and notworthy as far as comedy news is concerned. Although i have not seen many articles regarding about the cd charting in Japan, National Lampoon Comedy Radio on XM have announced the news after playing cuts from the cd and an interview with Jeff Duran on October 2nd, 2006. There is also a small write up on a website about Jason Blades, who contributed songs and voices for the cd. That online write up can be found here [3].
[edit] Japanese Charts
Duran did not chart on Oricon charts but on several online charts in Japan. That is still a big deal for an english speaking comedian. I heard today on his radio show in Palmdale that he may open for Egashira 2:50-the japanese eqivalent to Andrew Dice Clay. I added this to the article because I think it is revelant. I just wanted to make sure nobody was confused that the cd did not chart on Oricon.
