Talk:Sticky & Sweet Tour

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

After being deleted, this article has reappeared, and again, most of the references are from a fan-based site. Aside from the name of the tour and planned venues/dates, all of this article is lacking in reliable and verifiable sources. Urgent attention is needed to improve the quality of this article, or risk it being deleted again. JKW111 (talk) 05:56, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

This page should never have been deleted, as it was actually "Madonna's forthcoming tour" page which was deleted and was lacking in information. It resulted in this page deleted as it had been moved twice. This new page is referenced from Madonna's official website, I will add other website references. This tour is now confirmed. JWAD (talk)
I agree that article should stay (I added a news reference before it was last deleted), but it should not rely on madonnalicious etc as sources. i think there shoudl be plenty of better sources by now that things are announced. JKW111 (talk) 11:54, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Well, here are a few:

Let's get the fan-site links outta here. - eo (talk) 12:04, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] London 13th

Whoever is considering re-adding London in the table for 13th September, PLEASE STOP. It is pure fan speculation. The 11th still has thousands of tickets on sale and Live Nation will not add another date which won't even be half sold. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.178.0.7 (talk) 14:25, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Spanish Dates

Please, citation is needed! In her website, nothing about Spanish dates is confirmed.

To be confirmed, but is supposed. Look the Spanish dates in this web site in "Roteiro", please: http://www.madonnaonline.com.br/tours/stickysweet.asp —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.42.12.165 (talk) 09:55, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

What ever happened to the 12 million pound deal to play live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates? source: The Sun http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/article1056414.ece and NME http://www.nme.com/news/madonna/36011

She would never go to Dubai! I don't know who released the information but her show is not something that would go on in a "dark ages city"... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.229.236.217 (talk) 18:31, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

You can add Zagreb, Croatia, on a list because she confirmed it herself on Croatian television today. The show is going to be on a Maksimir stadium. 23rd of September! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.229.236.217 (talk) 18:35, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Brazil/Mexico Dates

Please stop adding these fake dates for Brazil and Mexico. Verifiable references have been cited for the current dates and according to those references, the only date added were in Las Vegas and Denver. Madonna's offical website along with Live Nation have expressed dates will be added in the South American market, however, they will be announced LATER THIS YEAR. When dates are announced, feel free to add them but provide a source other than fan speculation. Dancefloor royalty (talk) 05:52, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Mexican Dates have been confirmed by Mexican media. Also, Ocesa, the company in charge of most concerts in mexico, and partner of Live Nation has confirmed the mexican dates. You can see the dates in ocesa's comercial site: http://comercial.ocesa.com.mx/conexion/conexion61/conexion61.html —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.146.97.123 (talk) 07:12, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
I have contacted Live Nation and according to them, there are NO SCHEDULED DATES FOR MADONNA'S TOUR IN MEXICO! Dancefloor royalty (talk) 15:52, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
