Stiff and Restless was released as a cassette tape probably sometime in late 1993 or early 1994. According to one report, only 100 of these demo tapes were ever made.[1][2] The demo tape offers rough recordings of songs from both of their studio albums Sink and Glyph. The cover of the demo tape features a painting by John William Waterhouse. The painting is titled Hylas and the Nymphs and also appears on the Sink (Demo Tape) insert in a three picture mosaic. Kill the Girl, the fourth track on the tape, appears as Killed the Girl.
