Based in Vancouver, BC, Canada; Stiff Valentine is an industrial metal disco band that combines nu metal, industrial metal, punk, and electronica.[1][2]
The band features "Loud" Chris DeMarcus, former member of industrial rock band Dismantled and Craig Huxtable, former keyboard player for Front Line Assembly, Noise Unit and current project Landscape Body Machine.
The band is very active in the Vancouver music scene and is known to have several guest musicians randomly join them on stage for a song or two, or the whole set. SV has featured guest members from Left Spine Down, Front Line Assembly, A Spectre is Haunting Europe, and other industrial and punk bands. This is due to singer LoudChris and his connection to the music industry as a sound engineer and music technologist.
They have also shared the stage with KMFDM, Terrorfakt, Cruxshadows, and Zombie Girl.

[edit] Loveless EP
The band released their first EP, Loveless in April 2008.[3] It was produced and recorded by the C&C Brothers at Harbourside Studios. It is the first release from Vancouver based label Trafik Records.[4]

The band is planning to release their first LP in September 2008, and has mentioned on their myspace blog that bonus remix tracks from Dismantled, Landscape Body Machine, and other industrial rock acts will be on the album.

The band is very adamant about their use of locally custom made Sparrow Guitars and often plays with Marshall Amps and Korg drum machines. Though Craig Jensen has been seen playing amps from the Orange Music Electronic Company.
