Description |
Stilbocarpa polaris, also known as the Macquarie Island Cabbage. This is part of a megaherb community growing on Campbell Island, one of the sub-antarctic islands of New Zealand. The strap-like leaves belong to Bulbinella rossi.
This photograph was taken by and originally posted to flikr by Twiddleblatt, under the title 'Stilbocarpa Polaris on Campbell Island'.
