[edit] Talk with User:Arnoutf
Hi StevenAR and welcome once again. I saw you listed a question on the Talk:Dutch (ethnic group). I would ask you to place remarks on talk pages always on the bottom of the relevant page; this to keep a chronological log of the issues raised; I have taken the liberty to move your question down. The answer to your question by the way, is that references are an automatized format. The reference is added in the text at the relevant position as follows: <ref>This is how you add an inline referecen in the text</ref> which will show up as a note[1]. The <references/> tag compiles a list out of all intext references. One way to keep track of answers on questions is by watching the page (just click the watch tab on somewhere on top of a page and a page is added to you watchlist). When you check my watchlist (somewhere on top of your pages); you will see the log of modifications made to all pages on your watchlist, an indication that issues have been repsonded to. I hope this helps you on your way, and I hope you will have a good time editing on Wikipedia Arnoutf 08:54, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Thank you Arnoutf! I'll follow your advice. I need to catch up with the rules you posted above! I'm a little confused with "automatized references", but will figure it out. The 'watchlist' is really helpful! I test how to sign: StevenAR 00:19, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
Ummm, why is my name red and your's is blue? Can I pick green for me? StevenAR 00:20, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
Ha! I figured that out myself in the watchlist! StevenAR 00:26, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
