I have asked the blocking admin since there is no statement about who the alleged puppeteer is nor is the edit history helpful, and the block note above was posted by an anon. But you are indeed blocked. Daniel Case (talk) 03:40, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- I faintly remember seeing several sockpuppet accounts attacking User talk:BillCJ; this user's only edit was to that page, around the time that happened (the day before, looking at history). The particular edit doesn't seem problematic, but it's something to consider. To Steve, do you have anything to say in response to that bit of information? – Luna Santin (talk) 06:58, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
Reminds me of User:Stefanomencarelli, who is on a 1-year arbcom block. I think this may be a false positive but will ping Akradecki to check. This user's only contribution has been to request help from User:BillCJ. Stifle (talk) 13:58, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
I have been watching for a while. I would like to try and edit now.

[edit] Welcome!
Hi, and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to military history.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our navigation box points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The announcement and open task box is updated very frequently. You can watchlist it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WPMILHIST Announcements}} there.
- Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.
- The project has several departments, which handle article quality assessment, detailed article and content review, article improvement contests, and other tasks.
- We have a number of task forces that focus on specific topics, nations, periods, and conflicts.
- We've developed a style guide that covers article structure and content, template use, categorization, and many other issues of interest.
- The project has a stress hotline available for your use.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask one of the project coordinators, or any experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Kirill 01:35, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 01:48, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Concur
You never should have been blocked in th first place. That checkuser didn't go as planned. — BQZip01 — talk 22:59, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know who you are or why you 'Concur'. Your edit history seems to show you as a trouble maker, who has a problem getting along with others. Please leave me alone. SteveMancarelli (talk) 01:02, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
