[edit] Note

Please note from WP:USERPAGE, "Personal statements that could be considered polemical, such as opinions on matters unrelated to Wikipedia (should not be on your userpage)." Images can be considered a statement or such, and such images do spark controversy. I have therefore removed the Nazi flags Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 15:48, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

This is only in informative purpose. In same manner I'm give information about my nationality and use Ukrainian flag. --SteveGOLD 16:03, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the note - but please be sensitive to how other might interpret it! Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 16:05, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
Can somebody be sensetive to my mind? I do not wish to kindle any enmity, I have removed swastikas in heading - because they don't have informative purpose, and were used as ornament. But swastika in my user page near phrase about my political views is used ONLY in informative purpose. Thanx. --SteveGOLD 16:15, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Again from WP:USERPAGE:

The Wikipedia community is generally tolerant and offers fairly wide latitude in applying these guidelines to regular participants. Particularly, community-building activities that are not strictly "on topic" may be allowed, especially when initiated by committed Wikipedians with good edit histories. At their best, such activities help us to build the community, and this helps to build the encyclopedia. But at the same time, if user page activity becomes disruptive to the community or gets in the way of the task of building an encyclopedia, it must be modified to prevent disruption.

And I wish too to do this encyclopedia better. --SteveGOLD 16:44, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Howdy! Editors on Wikipedia need to obey Wikipedia policy, or they may be blocked for disruption. A number of editors, including myself, believe that saying that you are a neo-nazi may be exhibiting this behavior. Thus, I would appreciate it if you would not include the statement that you are a Neo-Nazi. Of course, if you disagree with our interpretion of the policy, feel free to discuss it here. I hope we can come to an agreement about all of this. Cheers, -- Where 02:27, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for responding. However, regardless of whether it is meant for informative purposes, statements that you are a neo-Nazi are polemic, and thus against Wikipedia policy, no? If you continue to make such polemic statements on your userpage, I may have no choice but to prevent you from editng the page, either by protecting it from editing or by temporarily blocking you from editing. So can you please remove that statement? If you disagree with what other people have on their userpages, you can discuss it with them; but what other people have on their pages has no bearing on what you should have on yours. Cheers! -- Where 00:20, 23 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The End

I'm tired about this stupid discussion. I'm now very busy, so I can't participate in this "comedy", so if you can please delete my user_page and all history of it editing. Thanx, Have a nice day. P.S.: NEVER JUDGE PEOPLE FOR THEIR BELIEVES. --SteveGOLD 11:47, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

I am only enforcing Wikipedia policy. Per your request, I have deleted your userpage. Feel free to recreate it if you want to, but only do so in accordance with WP:UP. Thanks, -- Where 15:42, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Thank you. :) Cheers! --SteveGOLD 16:10, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: vandalism

Typically, I don't like to block users until they are given a last warning using a template like {{test4}}. If the user gives any more trouble, let me know, and I will be happy to block the IP. Note, however, that while you are free to contact me directly, you will often get faster responses if you report vandals to WP:AIV. Happy editing! -- Where 18:41, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
