Stewart Zamudio a New York Army National Guard soldier from Hauppauge, New York. Joined the National Guard in the year 2000 and ended his active duty status in 2006. During his service, he was activated and ordered to serve at the World Trade Center after the attacks on 9/11. Because of his touching story at Ground Zero, the Army National Guard asked him to participate in an Army National Guard advertisement. The advertisement features Stewart Zamudio in a television commercial, and on a website interview for the National Guard campaign to help with recruitment.

Since Stewart Zamudio finished his service with National Guard and was honorably discharged. He felt that the advertisement gave him a voice to express his opinions, on the war on terrorism, Iraq, President Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, and Osama Bin Laden. He decided to go on the air with CW11 News reporter Peter Thorne, to relay his underlying message. "Let me give you a piece of advice, I would not join the Army National Guard right now, because the risk of getting killed or injured in Iraq is to high." -Stewart Zamudio
